All Roads Lead to Brookings: 2026 Edition

I love compiling this list every year just to see how the team is built and where they come from.  If you have followed this blog for any amount of time, you know that I love the roster construction aspect of all of this.  The Jackrabbits recruiting footprint expanded after the consecutive national championships.  From the outside, it appears the emphasis remains to build the bulk of the team around regional talent.  Looking at the actual quantitative data shows this to be true.

  1. I know recruiting takes resources; I would love to see a Michigan footprint. Michigan doesn’t have any FCS schools, and the Jacks would be greatly more desirable than any MAC school. Just ask Ferris St & Grand Valley St about getting all that local talent.
